Half-day Workshop: Analysis of Climate-related Risk and Disclosures with the CDP

An Investor Practitioner Workshop

A summary of the event will be available soon.

The FSI and the Concordia’s John Molson School of Business are delighted to be co-hosting a half-day workshop with the CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) on the latest tools and techniques for assessing climate-related risks for investors.

The CDP provides investors (a network of investors and purchasers, representing over $100 trillion) with critical self-reported environmental data infrastructure to integrate sustainability within the investment process. This year, the CDP has aligned its information requests around carbon disclosure with the recommendations of the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and other disclosure frameworks.

Workshop Topics:

  • Dissecting Disclosure – Climate Change, Deforestation, Water Security
  • Modelled Emissions Dataset
  • Tools for Scenario Analysis for Companies
  • Investor Research and Sector-specific Summaries
  • Updates for 2018
