The FSI is very proud to have hosted a breakfast conference with Professor Robert G. Eccles in Montreal on April 13, 2016.

Robert G. Eccles is a professor of Management Practice at the Harvard Business School, as well as Chairman of asset management firm Arabesque Partners.  He is also the Founding Chairman of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and one of the founders of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC).  Prof. Eccles is the world’s foremost expert on integrated reporting and a leader on how companies and investors can create sustainable strategies.

The crowd of 115 people hailing from the business, finance, and academic communities were captivated by Prof. Eccles’ views on long-termism, materiality, the integrated reporting ecosystem, directors’ fiduciary responsibility solely to the corporation, and the “Statement of Significant Audiences and Materiality” campaign.

This event was made possible thanks to the precious collaboration of Anne-Josée Laquerre, Director, Social Purpose and Corporate Sustainability at Aimia, and Milla Craig, President of Millani Perspectives and co-founder of the FSI.
